Microsoft, 2015 yılının Kasım ayında son derece zekice bir uygulamaya imza atarak, hem eski oyunların satışlarını tepeye taşımak, hem de Sony PS4 – XBox One rekabetinde avantaj sağlamak için pek çok Xbox 360 oyununu Xbox One’da çalışır hale getirdi. 21 Temmuz (Perşembe akşamı) yeni oyunlar da listede yer aldı.
Belki bazı otoriteler dışarıdan bakınca, Xbox 360 oyunlarının Xbox One ile uyumlu hale getirilmesini, yetersiz hatta manasız görebilir. Ne var ki iş, hiç de öyle değil. Tek bir X360 oyunundan örnek verelim. Red Dead Redemption’ın Xbox 360 sürümü (Önemle belirtiyoruz: XBox One özel versiyonu değil) yüzde 6000’den fazla yükseliş gösterdi. Tek bir oyunda böyle bir başarı elde edildiyse, lütfen konsol satışlarına olan etkiyi ve eski oyunlara olan rağbeti siz düşünün.
Microsoft, 21 Temmuz Perşembe akşamı, XOne’ı destekleyen oyunlarının sayısını bir düzineye yakın artırdı.
